We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver - Heavy Duty to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Heavy Duty Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maneuvering large commercial vehicles while ensuring timely delivery of goods and adhering to all traffic regulations.

Operate and navigate heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently through Dubai's road network
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
Load and unload cargo according to specified procedures and safety guidelines
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and any incidents or delays
Adhere to all local and international traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation systems and local knowledge
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and the public
Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
Assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks when necessary
Adapt to changing weather conditions and traffic patterns to ensure on-time deliveries
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior

Qualifications

Valid heavy-duty vehicle driver's license
Minimum 5 years of experience in operating heavy-duty vehicles
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations, especially in Dubai
Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physical ability to perform tasks associated with driving heavy-duty vehicles, including loading and unloading when required
Familiarity with Dubai's road network and traffic patterns
Strong time management skills and ability to work flexible hours
Attention to detail in maintaining vehicle logs and documentation
Basic mechanical knowledge for performing routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Adaptability to changing schedules and route assignments
Strong problem-solving skills for handling unexpected situations on the road
