Data Privacy Advisor Required in Dubai

3-5 years of relevant experience, preferrably from banking/financial sector

Key Responsibilities

Assist with monitoring compliance with the GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation and with drafting data protection policies, keep policies updated and undertaking regular monitoring and testing on key controls and areas of risk.
Provide advice on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and provide oversight of their performance.
Assisting with produce data processing agreement templates and update in line with regulatory guidance, training the relevant teams on deployment and negotiation of such templates
Perform oversight of data processing agreements with third parties handling personal data.
Provide DPO support on data protection and privacy risk and/or impact assessments.
Deal with subject access requests and other GDPR rights within statutory timeframes
Support investigations, as required, relating to personal data breaches or alleged breaches of applicable data protection and privacy legislation;
Scan the regulatory horizon and keep abreast of any regulatory or other changes relating to data protection that may affect the Bank;
Keep abreast of emerging technologies/communication channels that are relevant to data protection.
Setting standards and reviewing policies and procedures globally that meet the requirements under the GDPR and any localization requirements in countries of operation.
Developing and delivering privacy training to various business functions.
Coordinating and conducting data privacy audits
