Cost Controller ( CA / CPA ) Required in Dubai UAE

Assist in the preparation of financial plans and company budgets, ensuring all costs relating to relevant departments are monitored, controlled and recorded correctly and preparation of all reports (internal and external).

Roles and Responsibility

• Assist in the preparation of the departmental budgets & forecasts and implementation of budgetary control on day-to-day operations.

• Co-ordinate with departments and ensure proposed budgets for appropriateness of the estimation basis, the accuracy of the calculations, the logic of the assumptions and justifications, and proper classification of expenditure.

• Ensure adequate control over approved budgets and obtain justifications for budget deviation/transfers.

• Ensure adequate control over all departmental spend.

• Support departments by reviewing the spend are within budget and approve the same on a timely basis.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly & yearly cost reports & identify any irregularities or budget deviations.

• Assist in the preparation and timely submission of all reports to stakeholders (internal and external), regulators and individual departments.

• Assist in developing policies and procedures for budgeting and control and ensure these are reviewed and updated on a periodic basis and in line with the current systems.

• Handle accounting spare parts and inventory including tracking of spare parts consumption and replenishments for routine and major maintenance capex transactions.

• Ensure stakeholder satisfaction at all times.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Master’s Degree.

Professional Qualifications:

• CA or CPA Qualified.

Experience:

• 4+ years of relevant experience.

Other Skills:

• Sound knowledge and experience of SAP FI, CO, Plant Maintenance and other modules.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Excellent English language skills, verbal & written.

• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus
