Job Summary:
Provide high level product expertise, creativity and product application support to the IFFCO group. A credible, professional and articulate chef, whom customers can consult in all IFFCO food & beverage discussions. Candidate must be naturally passionate about food, culinary arts and the foodservice industry. Corporate Chef Executive will be responsible for scheduling and running session at the Customer Engagement center with commercial intent using application of IFFCO products in different cuisines as a medium.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Understand, reflect & practice IFFCO’s vision & values.
Support Sales by concept selling & demonstrating product applications to customers using IFFCO’s product portfolio.
Proactively generates innovative product and menu concepts by following foods trends, recipe suggestion and innovative applications in all market segments e.g. cafeterias to 5 Star restaurants.
Develops strong working relationships with customer contacts through rapport building, earning trust and being the customer’s “go to” culinary contact and convert it into business opportunities for IFFCO product portfolio.
Participate in solution consultation by running customer work sessions with different cuisine; such as Arabic, Western, Asian for diverse market segment catered by IFFCO portfolio.
Design with Marketing periodic social media communication (end users campaign, application recipes sharing etc), and deliver inspiring presentations and product demonstrations at live or virtual events.
Adheres to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and local Municipality Regulations. Keep records of all requirement.
Act as IFFCO OOH Ambassador within chef community, through professional Chef Associations networking, customer presentations, special events, marketing activities, and trade shows.
Capture market intelligence & food trends to assist food-marketing team in developing new strategies.
Lead Basic Culinary Training and Product Application Workshop, ensuring sales and marketing team are equipped with product knowledge and application, and vocabulary to sell food solutions to end users.
Work Experience:
Minimum 6 years of corporate chef or as executive chef in reputed organization required.
Minimum 10 years work experience from restaurants or hotels.
Affiliated to chef’s associations or have extensive connections to leverage from the F&B industry.
Excellent command of English in oral and written.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Corporate Chef for a food manufacturer or national restaurant chain preferred
Professional Chef certification, Associates degree in Culinary, Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Hospitality Management.
Prior experience as a Chef for a food manufacturer preferred
