THE COMPANY WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2000 WITH BUSINESS ACTIVITIES IN BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TRADING. IT EMPLOYS APPROXIMATELY 50 STAFF OF VARIOUS NATIONALITIES, INCLUDING ARABIC-SPEAKING.

Chartered Accountant

· Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable accounts of the company.

· Supervise junior/assistant accountant.

· Prepare financial statements, comply, keep the company updated with GAAP, and analyze financial reports.

· Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information, handling bank reconciliation, banking coordination etc.

· Analyse develops and suggest procedures for effective and efficient workflow, improve internal control, and increase the efficiency of the department and the company.

· Perform month-end and year-end closing of accounts and assist during audits.

· Prepare monthly cashflows, forecasts, and plans, including well-organized monitoring of payments and receivables.

· Perform price and costing calculations and evaluate project profitability.

· Supervise and monitor the department’s progress and updates of works to ensure on-time closing of accounts.

· Prepare and monitor VAT on sales and purchases and ensure on-time filling of VAT returns.

· Analyse and advise on insurance, banking facilities, and certain work contracts and agreements.

o (May also perform other tasks besides the above primary duties.)

· Assist in various H/R and admin matters, which include maintaining employee records, attendance and payroll, VISA processing, monitoring, and renewal of licenses and registrations.

· Monitor shipping rates, approve shipments, and coordinate with the IMPEX department.

· Assist in costing and entering of items in the system, stock adjustments, and monitor selling prices.

· Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor degree in Accounting
