• A Dubai-based company of over 20 years in the business of Vehicle Conversion, customized fabrication, fitments for export in the mining, ambulance, fleet, defense, aid and development industries is looking for a Business Manager who can take techno-commercial responsibilities as follows:
• Adapt operational plans, carry out performance evaluations, and supervise all daily activities, to keep the business productive, efficient, and organized at all times.
• Identify, develop new and existing customers in Middle East and African countries.
• Ideate and execute new strategies to spearhead the company towards being a sustainable and growth-based business model.
• Prepare, submit tenders and quotations, and follow up with customers.
• Actively work to monitor, control, and reduce the costs of business. Prepare detailed costing analyses, long/medium term budgets, targets and reports.
• Vendor negotiations and management.
• Lead the sales & marketing team
• Oversee after-sales service to customers.
• Take responsibilities of the company’s financial statements.
Requirements:
• Must have an experience and deep understanding of automobile business in Middle East and African markets
• Must have technical knowledge required for automobile workshops like fabrication, painting, fitments, spare parts, accessories etc.
• Detailed planning and timely execution of contracts
• Familiar with UAE Freezone customs documentation and export procedures
• Exceptional communication skills, smart negotiation, team building and retaining soft skills with customers, vendors and team members
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
• BE and/or MBA qualification from a reputed institution is preferred
• At least 10-15 years total experience as business manager or relevant role and 5 years’ experience in large/MNC organization’s exporting vehicles to Middle East and African countries
• Reasonable travelling may be required
• Reporting to: Managing Director
