An exciting new opportunity has arisen within a growing 3PL Company for a Business Development Officer based in Dubai.

For a client based in West Africa, the primary focus of this role will be to develop new business opportunities for the upcoming project within Mining, Oil & Gas and Energy sector, with the objective being to improve and grow the organization's market position and financial growth.

Responsibilities:

To develop new business opportunities for a client based in West Africa,

Responsible for compiling tenders and business (solution) proposals for all client affiliates in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Senegal, Mauritania and Namibia,

Structure, price and sell integrated logistics solutions to different clients,

Sales with an understanding of the commercial viability, performing cost, margin and contribution analysis, deal / project profit and loss,

To follow all the development projects of the different sectors in the West African Region,

Identify potential new customers according to the new development project in West Africa,

Responsible for compiling all the administrative documents, operational procedures, standard tariffs, credentials of each affiliate to reply to tenders,

Administering the contract to ensure the terms and conditions stated therein are fulfilled,

Managing change by controlling the contract e.g. scope, cost, change order, variation, etc..

Attends Service Quality Meeting with customers,

Ensures documents of commercial sensitivity are secured at the end of each working day,

Attending exhibitions, trade shows and relevant Industry networking events when required

Track and record activity and submit monthly reports to Group CEO,

dentify potential partnership to provide integrated logistics solutions.

Qualifications:

Marketing or Sales related Degree

Network of business and client contacts in the region within the industry advantageous

5 years’ Experience in the Oil and Gas industry

5 years’ experience in logistics projects / shipping and freight forwarding field

5 years’ experience in management level business development roles

Commercially minded

Computer literate in Microsoft Office
