Business Development Manager Required in Dubai

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of generating leads and closing deals. The Senior Business Development Engineer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and building strong relationships with existing clients. He/she will promote and sell our engineering and building inspection services to a diverse range of industries, including construction, oil and gas, factories, facility management, utilities, marine, healthcare, education, hospitality, retail, and other relevant sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute strategic business growth plans to align with the company's vision and goals.

· Analyse market trends and customer feedback to identify areas for growth and new business opportunities.

· Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and key industry players to expand the company's reach and influence.

· Continuously evaluate and evolve the company's business model to adapt to changing market needs and emerging technologies.

· Identify and research potential customers across various sectors to generate leads and develop new business opportunities.

· Conduct cold calls and emails to introduce our engineering and building inspection services and qualify prospects.

· Develop project quotes/ proposals as per client needs and requirements.

· Follow up with leads and prospects to determine their level of interest and readiness to purchase.

· Manage all lead and prospect interactions in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.

· Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our engineering and building inspection services and the benefits they offer to potential clients.

· Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.

· Create and curate compelling content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook to increase brand awareness and lead generation.

· Write persuasive copy for emails, landing pages, and other marketing materials to drive engagement and conversion.

· Provide weekly/monthly reports on sales development activities and pipeline health to management.

· Provide input and feedback to the management team on business development and pricing strategies.

· Collaborate with the technical team to ensure that our engineering and building inspection services meet and exceed industry standards and customer expectations.

· Leverage existing network and relationships to develop new business.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.

· Proven track record of developing new business and expanding customer base.

· Experience in multiple sectors, including construction, oil and gas, factories, facility management, utilities, marine, healthcare, education, hospitality, retail, and other industries as appropriate.

· Strong knowledge of engineering and building inspection services, with a particular focus on electrical and facade/envelope inspection services (blower door air tightness testing, water host tightness testing, room integrity testing, duct testing)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Willingness to travel as required.

· Driving License mandatory.

· Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
