The Barista cum Sandwich maker is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and light food items, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and handling all cashier transactions efficiently and accurately. The role requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Barista & Sandwich maker Duties

Prepare hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks as per brand standards.

Maintain knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and brewing techniques.

Operate coffee machines, blenders, and grinders safely and effectively.

Ensure beverage presentation, taste, and temperature meet quality standards.

Cashier Duties

Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash, card, and digital payments.

Issue receipts, handle returns/refunds as per company policy.

Count cash drawer at beginning and end of shifts; reconcile discrepancies.

Customer Service & Cleanliness

Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries or complaints politely.

Maintain a clean and organized work area including counters, machines, and tables.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Restock inventory such as cups, lids, napkins, and ingredients as required.

Skills and Qualifications
Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

1+ year of experience as a Barista and/or Cashier.

Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 15 kg.

Preferred

Certification in food safety or barista training.

Multilingual ( English, others).

Experience in high-volume cafés or hospitality environments.

Working Conditions

Fast-paced café environment.

May require weekend and holiday shifts.
