Assistant Tax Manager Required in Dubai

The main objective for the candidate is to support the group head of tax team in UAE and outside UAE

Work Activities:

Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
Offer support and guidance during audits.
Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
In-depth knowledge of tax accounting and bookkeeping processes.
Researching, analysing and interpreting changing tax legislation in both inside UAE and in GCC.
Prepare and manage all documents in line with VAT regulations and other related activities
Preparation, validation and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns for the UAE entities
Ensure collections and payments are done in line with UAE regulations

Maintain controls by adhering to the accounting department’s policies and procedures and ensure Tax practices are in compliance with UAE financial reporting statutes, standards and financial reporting best practices

Education/Background

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field.

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a tax accountant or similar role.

- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

- Big 4audit experience is an advantage
