PositionOverview

The Assistant Manager- Human resources, primary responsibility will be managing Compensation and benefits, HR policies and procedures, and HR operations related work across all areas of HR.

The position is integral in the continued attraction and development of talent into the organisation.

Overall, the role contribution is 80% operational and 20% strategic, and in terms of responsibilities, it is a 70% individual and 30% team contributor role

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in the formulation and development of Compensation and benefits framework and maintain all the HR policies and procedures
Working closely with the team to implement and managing salary, bonus and LTI packages for employees, while working on multiple Rewards related projects
Compensation & Benefits administration & BAU execution including advising on Offers for internal and external hiring, Benefit Administration where needed
To support execution of performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
Creation, alignment and modification/updating of Reward policies, guidelines and procedures
Market Benchmarking: Assist with level mapping & benchmarking for existing & new roles
Develop a job evaluation scheme based on best practices to establish the basis for an internal ranking of jobs
Conduct job evaluations to ensure that the difference in pay between those doing different jobs within the organisation are fair and are perceived to be so
Evaluating offers, structures to market data based on market best match while looking at various market data elements
Participate in annual compensation surveys (WTW, Mercer etc)
Supporting the Reward team with the development and implementation of any new systems or processes
To support with templates and analysis of costing/budgeting, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes from a number’s perspective.
Generate ad hoc data analysis and reports, within functional area.
Provides professional advice, and support to the Senior HR manager, in developing and implementing integrated and value-added management processes, programs, plans and systems that contribute strategically to the overall effectives and efficiency of the Organization.
Recommends, provides and develops professional analysis, alternative perspectives, information, and techniques regarding organizational structure and design to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Assist in preparing Organization-wide programs/services, develops recommendations and prepares presentations supporting executive-level decisions relative to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Organizations operations.
Conduct periodic audit for different countries and companies to ensure that all HR practices are in compliance with group policy
Supervising the employee onboarding process and all PRO related tasks/activities
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Contract, Labour Law, Regulatory knowledge is essential.
Strong Communication Skills in English(mandatory) and Arabic(desired).
Ability to work independently in a start-up environment.
Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills.
Strong decision-making skills.
Hands-on experience with HR databases
Excellent excel and power points skills.
Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and must be able to collect and work with various data sources for Rewards related projects.
Data Analytical skills: Excellent with excel, Google sheets while having experience working on payroll, compensation analysis.
Hands-on approach with a can-do work attitude; with a fun-to-work-with

energy at all times.

An ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and

tasks assigned

Required work experience/Qualifications/Certification:

Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Human resource management, Total Rewards, Statistics, Mathematics etc, or other related discipline is required.
At least seven (7) years with Masters, or Ten (10) years with bachelor’s degree experience including minimum four (4) years in a supervisory capacity is required.
Experience in working in a technology company- ideally in a start-up- highly desirable
A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits and HR policies in the Middle East
Overall experience in the full spectrum of HR activities including Recruitment, Performance management, Compensation & benefits, Training and development, Payroll and Employee relations with hands on previous experience on Employee payroll, Succession planning, Career management, Organisation Design and HR audit will be an added advantage
Experience of working in a regional capacity and a solid understanding of cultural and market

differences within the relevant countries
Certified Human Resources Programs, Korn Ferry Hay Guide Chart – Profile Method , Total Rewards and/or Professional (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, HCI) or any equivalent certificates is preferred.
Experience of Assessment Centres will be an added advantage

Language skills:

● Required language(s): English(mandatory) and Arabic(preferred)
