Are you a dynamic sales leader with deep expertise in food processing equipment and a passion for driving regional growth?
Our client, a well-established company in the food machinery and processing industry, is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager – Middle East to lead business development and manage customer relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and market growth objectives in the ME region.
• Identify and engage with potential customers, distributors and partners within the food processing industry.
• Manage existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for expansion.
• Work closely with engineering, technical and service teams to provide tailored solutions to customers.
• Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations and training sessions for customers and distributors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial terms in alignment with company policies.
• Ensure after-sales service and technical support meet client expectations, collaborating with service teams when necessary.
• Attend industry events, trade shows and exhibitions to promote company products and expand business networks.
• Report on sales performance, forecasts and market intelligence to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related (Mechanical, Electrical or Food Tech preferred)
• 5–6 years of sales/business development experience in food processing equipment
• Regional ME experience with ability to travel extensively
• Strong understanding of machinery like flour cooling, sugar handling, electrostatic coating, etc.
• Fluent in English & Arabic
• Excellent negotiation and client management skills
