Mosaic Talent Consulting is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Accounting Technician II to join a leading public utilities organization in the United States. Key Responsibilities:
• Process and prioritize a high volume of invoices while adhering to daily deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of aged payables for assigned work streams.
• Communicate any variances or issues and track communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Resolve customer and vendor inquiries regarding payment history, status, and coding.
• Support various accounts payable projects and assist other staff members in invoice processing.
Required Qualifications:
• Two (2) years of previous accounting or bookkeeping experience, or one (1) year of experience as an Accounting Technician I.
• Solid experience in full-time accounts payable and supplier invoice processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with large accounting software systems.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment in problem-solving.
• Reliable and punctual attendance record.
• Knowledge of internal controls over purchasing and payables.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
