ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT REQUIRED IN DUBAI

We are in the search for an Indian (Keralite) or a Nepali national (Female) to work for us, as an Accounting Assistant.

Our business roots in Dubai began in the year 1996, whilst the head quarters in Sri Lanka was established in 1978. We are a highly recognized Skilled Job Placement company with a large portfolio of multinational clients within the UAE and overseas. Our business had been growing ever since the pandemic started in 2020, hence the need for additional staff is rising.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for day-to-day accounts, and banking
operations.
• Managing general ledgers and posting accounting
vouchers (Invoices, Bills, Receipts, Payments, and
Journal vouchers)
• Handling Petty cash and salary processing.
• Undertake daily reconciliation of receivables,
payables, and bank transactions and resolve
accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and
requesting disbursements.
• Follow up on overdue receivables and ensure such
is either escalated to the management or closed
within an acceptable time frame to ensure the
completeness and accuracy of the accounts.
• Introduce and maintain accounting controls.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
• 2-3 years Accounting experience at similar level
• Proficiency in Xero & ZOHO accounting software
• Must be highly detail oriented and organized
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal
daily direction from manager to accomplish
objectives
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office
application; especially Excel
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with
all levels of employees, management, and external
agencies to maximize performance creativity,
problem solving, and results.

Keralite or Nepali – Female would be preferred with UAE exp.
Office Location: Port Sayed (Near Deira City Center – Next to Commercial Bank of Dubai)
