Role Description The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Ain, responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. Core tasks include preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, reconciling bank and account statements, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. The role involves processing accounts payable and receivable, verifying invoices, monitoring payments, and supporting cash flow management. The Accountant will also assist with budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reports for management, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and organizational policies. Collaboration with internal departments, external auditors, and vendors is required to resolve discrepancies and support smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in core accounting practices, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, taxation principles, and regulatory requirements, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple deadlines and maintain detailed records.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
Previous experience in an accounting role, ideally within a service, staffing, or outsourcing environment, is preferred.
Minimum 5 Years of experience.
