Accountant Required in Dubai

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate reporting in compliance with UAE regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and MIS reporting, along with proficiency in accounting software such as Tally.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books of accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled
Prepare financial statements including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules
Prepare and monitor cash flow statements and liquidity positions
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations
Generate periodic MIS reports for management review and decision-making
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Assist in VAT filings and returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
Monitor financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of Tally
Solid understanding of financial reporting and bookkeeping principles
Basic knowledge of VAT regulations in the UAE
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Attributes

Experience working in the UAE or GCC region
Familiarity with ERP systems (added advantage)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
