Accountant Required in Dubai

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the accounts receivable function for the organization, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.

- Monitor receivables aging and follow up with clients to ensure prompt payments.

- Coordinate with sales, legal, and property management teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure accurate documentation.

- Prepare monthly AR reports, including aging analysis, collection forecasts, and performance metrics.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies,

- Lead AR audits and support external auditors with required documentation.

- Liaise with team in regards to collection and customer communications.

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and collection efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 3 years in a senior role.

- Strong understanding of real estate accounting practices and regulatory compliance.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, Yardi, MSD) and advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in a large real estate development company or property management firm.

- Familiarity with escrow accounts management, RERA/DLD compliance, and real estate contracts.

- Proven track record in improving collection cycles and reducing outstanding receivables.
