REQUIREMENT
RISE is seeking an experienced Accountant to join as a key member of the RISE Team to support on day-to-day finance requirements.
· At least 2 years experience in an Accounting role.
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience in Accounting/bookkeeping systems.
· Knowledge of Prepayments, depreciation, accruals, intercompany transactions, foreign currency accounting, and account reconciliation.
· Committed to deliver results.
· Take ownership of your duties.
· Eager to learn and evolve.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage day-to-day accounting activities, these include accounts receivable, accounts payable and maintenance of management accounts.
· Participate in all aspects of the End Of Month process.
· Prepare/review journal entries and ensure transactions include valid supporting documents.
· Ensure GL accounts rollforwards, monthly reconciliations, and analyses are completed.
· Help in improving internal control policies and procedures to ensure delivery of reliable management reports and financial statements.
· Support with External Audit Requirements.
· Ensure compliance with Accounting standards.
· Manage Client registration and setup.
· Manage Supplier billing process and assist in Client billing.
· Manage Staff expenses process and reporting platform.
· Manage banking process from importing to reconciliation.
· Manage Finance enquiries and emails.
· Support Finance team with ad hoc duties as assigned.

As the Accountant, you will be engaged in Team and cross-department activities, thus you will need to maintain people skills such as:

· In certain role-related tasks/areas you will need to work closely with the HR and Ops teams to enhance your task’s results.

COMMUNICATION

· Very good written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
