I am supporting a company focused on global industrial water treatment solutions, and they are expanding their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant(s) to join them in their mission to deliver sustainable water solutions to industries worldwide.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Accountant, you will be an essential part of our finance team, reporting directly to the Accounting & Compliance Manager. You will play a key role in our day-to-day operations, helping to expedite monthly close and reporting processes. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of accounting policies and procedures for our newly established business divisions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger functions and ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management.
Handle full sets of accounts and execute monthly accounting close.
Verify accounting entries to ensure expenses are correctly recorded in the appropriate financial period.
Collaborate with overseas regional teams and business partners on finance and accounting matters.
Coordinate with auditors, corporate secretarial agents, local tax authorities, and government bodies as required.
Maintain master files for customers and vendors.
Prepare and review Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Bank Reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end accruals.
Oversee cash flow management and internet banking activities.
Prepare source files and upload monthly Balance Sheets and Income Statements to the Jedox system.
Manage accounts receivable functions, including issuing client invoices and monitoring credit control.
Handle timely and complete processing of accounts receivable collections, including follow-ups on due invoices.
Ensure timely payment to suppliers and address outstanding matters related to invoices and payments.
Manage employee reimbursement via HRMS (E Frontier) and perform necessary reconciliations.
Resolve payment inquiries from vendors and manage vendor reconciliations.
Prepare GST returns, GST variance analysis, and necessary paperwork for withholding tax.
Assist with various finance projects and tasks as assigned.

Skills/Experience/Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications..
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
