About the Role

iCARRY is a Technology driven logistics platform which uses the AI/ML to orchestrate the delivery chain between Senders and Carriers to provide a seamless and exceptional first/last mile delivery experience for customers and end-users. We developed an automated end-to-end delivery process making delivery simple and easy for everyone.

We are born in UK, piloting in Lebanon and working to scale across the MENA region.

The Accountant will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Responsibilities

Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
Prepare income tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
Complete end of month close procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) certificate (advantageous).
3 years of accounting work experience (essential).
Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent report writing, communication and IT skills.
Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages.
