Accountant Required in Dubai

HanseMerkur is looking for a qualified accountant to ensure compliant, accurate and timely financial records and reporting. The role will be based in the DIFC and thus require compliance with relevant standards and practices and will involve working with third parties, like banks or auditors, to keep the finances on track. This role gives great exposure to a vast range of tasks and duties and would be ideal for a candidate with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience looking to further their career.

Accountant duties include:

Preparing monthly and annual Accounts (P&L, BS and Cash Flow Statements)
Budgeting
Liaising with auditors
Corporate document maintenance
Payroll and staff expenses
Costing for projects
Data gathering and collation
Accounts Payable
Preparing and posting journals
Posting entries in accordance with IAS, IFRS and the company’s accounting policy
Business Analytics
KPI reporting

Accountant skills, qualifications, and experience

Candidates must be a qualified accountant with at least 2 years accounting experience in the UAE.
