Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in audit, financial reporting, and UAE taxation (including VAT and corporate tax). The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and supporting internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including return filings and payments
• Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules, reports, and documentation
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA, or ACCA preferred)
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Experience with audit preparation and working with external auditors
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Preferred: Prior experience in a construction, trading, or services company
