We’re looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join a food packaging facility in Sharjah. The role focuses on keeping warehouse operations running smoothly—receiving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing shipments, and supporting production with timely stock. This is a hands-on position for someone used to fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee receiving activities: inspect deliveries, verify items against paperwork, and record any discrepancies.
• Manage storage, labeling and put-away, following stock rotation methods (FIFO) and food-grade handling procedures.
• Pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch to meet scheduled shipments and production needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS/ERP systems; perform cycle counts and assist with stocktakes.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and compliant with safety and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with production, procurement and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues and ensure smooth material flow.
Requirements:
• 2–3 years’ experience in warehouse operations, preferably in food packaging, FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP tools; comfortable with basic computer tasks (MS Office).
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks and work in industrial conditions.
• Immediate joiners currently located in the UAE will be given preference.
