Urgent Accountant Required in Dubai

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing team in Dubai. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and schedule preparation.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on experience in TDS and GST and prior exposure to a BPO or shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and review daily accounting entries in ERP/accounting systems

• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations

• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet and P&L items

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Assist with audit documentation and query resolution

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements

• Support the Indian offshore team with accounting requirements

• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants as required

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and schedule preparation

• Prior experience in BPO / shared services / process-driven environments

• Zoho Books experience is mandatory

• Proficiency in Excel (basic to intermediate level)

• Experience with accounting software / ERP systems

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
