Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise the daily activities of Material issues, Receipt, Material Request, Material Storage (Air, Sea, and Road) to ensure successful in accomplishing their daily duties and responsibilities coordinating with DSV, Operation Manager & Material/Logistics Manager.
• Responsible for organizing Drilling Rig site materials to allow for a logical ordering system as dictated by the Operation Manager or Material Manager.
• Responsible for planning the procedure for physical inventory and record keeping on site as specified below in "Daily Transactions", as well as any additional duties required by the DSV,Operation Manager & Material/Logistics Manager.
•Responsible for planning and maintaining an accurate communication plan for all forms, reports, and information specified below in "Communication & Reporting", as well as any additional information required by the Operation Manager & Material/Logistics Manager.
•Responsible for advising the DSV, Operation Manager or Material/Logistics Manager, in determining stocking levels for stock and consumable materials, monitoring inventory levels for said items, and requisitioning re-stocking material once the re-order point is reached.
Daily Transactions:
•Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
•Compare received item to packing list to verify accuracy and quantity of shipment.
•Produce a "Field Material Receipt" form for each shipment, recording the inventory of material received.
•Material Inspection
•Conduct a visual inspection of material for overage, shortage, damage, or defects.
•Segregation and Storage
•Label and store items within warehouse / lay down yard according to a logical ordering system dictated by the Operation Manager or Material/Logistics Manager.
•Maintain an accurate "Material Inventory" Report
•Records what materials were received and issued
•Records what material is currently on hand
•Records where material is located within the warehouse / lay down yard.
•Preservation - Conduct preservation and preventive maintenance of material as required
