Are you a finance professional with expertise in corporate tax and accounting? We are currently seeking a Tax Accountant to join one of our prestigious clients in Abu Dhabi. This is a fantastic opportunity to support strategic tax compliance, reporting, and risk management while contributing to broader finance initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Tax & Reporting
• Support the implementation and monitoring of tax control and risk frameworks
• Liaise with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of income tax returns
• Stay up to date on UAE corporate tax regulations and their applicability
• Review the Chart of Accounts to align ERP (SAP) structures with CT classifications
Transfer Pricing & GL Management
• Assist with TP documentation (Master/Local File), benchmarking, and pricing analysis
• Post month-end closing entries and reconcile accounts in SAP
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting discrepancies
Audit, Compliance & Documentation
• Support internal/external audits and ensure all tax reporting deadlines are met
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation in line with company policy
• Ensure ongoing compliance with QMS, HSE, and IT governance policies
Budgeting & Analysis
• Contribute to annual budgeting and financial forecasting
• Track and analyze budget variances and support management with actionable insights
• Participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications & Skills
• ACCA / CPA / Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent
• Solid working knowledge of corporate tax (Direct/Indirect)
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index-Match, etc.)
• ERP expertise – SAP experience is highly preferred
Experience
• 2–5 years of relevant experience (preferably in UAE or GCC)
• Proven record of preparing and analyzing financial reports
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and systems implementation.
