System Administrator Required in Dubai

Purpose of Role

Administering the company’s IT assets across the group offices and vessels including applications, infrastructure, user support, and data management to meet group company’s business requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provides 1st and 2nd line support by troubleshooting hardware, infrastructure, and software, implementing corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of user’s IT issues.

Administering Microsoft 365 & Azure.

Administering Microsoft Intune/Autopilot and similar MDM solutions for endpoints.

Maintaining applications for end users including packaging and deployment via MDM solution.

Ensuring IT documentation is kept up to date.

Assisting with Network configurations on Wifi Access Points, Switches & Firewalls.

Assisting the IT Manager where needed.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills required

Expert working (5+ years’ experience) knowledge and hands-on experience with Intune, Azure, PowerShell, and application deployment.

Intune Autopilot and/or Deployment Knowledge – Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating system, deployment practices, and new capabilities supporting provisioning, patching, and overall management of Windows devices.

Automated Software Package Deployment - experience in preparing standard software suites (Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader, etc.) for automated deployment using Intune.

Desktop support experience – Highly skilled troubleshooting OS level stability and performance issues on desktop/laptop equipment.

Thorough understanding of Active Directory; including replication, GPO, DNS, DHCP.

Extensive hands-on experience automating processes and gathering data using PowerShell.

Fundamental understanding of security policies & technologies.

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Windows 2019/2022 Server.
