Role Description The Support Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Santa Rosa City. In this role, the Support Engineer provides technical support for Nova Robotics’ UAV platforms and related systems, including diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating timely resolutions. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting system performance problems, assisting customers and internal teams with technical inquiries, documenting incidents and solutions, and maintaining accurate records in support tools. The Support Engineer collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to escalate complex issues, support deployments, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes. The role also involves guiding customers on best practices, providing product training when needed, and ensuring a responsive, professional support experience.Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for hardware, software, and integrated UAV systems.
Candidates should possess effective Customer Support and Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, communicate clearly, and build trust with users and stakeholders.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Operating Systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and basic networking concepts to diagnose and resolve platform-level issues.
Candidates should possess good documentation and communication skills, including the ability to create clear incident reports, knowledge base articles, and user guidance.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are beneficial.
Experience with robotics, UAV systems, embedded platforms, or industrial electronics is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple cases with attention to detail and safety standards.
