Сost accountant Required in Dubai

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

⁃ Cost control together with the chef and the chef-bartender,

⁃ preparation of calculation and process charts, entering goods and services for sale in the system

⁃ Stocktaking and analysis of turnover sheets

⁃ Monthly and quarterly reconciliations with suppliers

⁃ Control of input and payment of supplier documents and debts to contractors

- Generate and track all product costing estimates for both new and existing product formulations

- Update standard costs in the formulations (bill of materials)

- Analyze costing information and collaborate with sales and finance teams to establish customer pricing

- Analyze and review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies or improvements

- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close

- Report on margins by product and product category

- Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances

- Report and analyze monthly financial performance and month-end close processes focusing on costing/inventory

- Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Iiko - Surve
Work experience in HoReCa!!!
