Osraty clinic for Physio and Rehab is a private, professional rehabilitation clinic established in the Emirate of Dubai in 2014. Osraty Clinic is concerned with providing comprehensive habilitation and rehabilitation services, and it includes an interdisciplinary team specializing in: physical and occupational therapy, speech and language, and applied behavioral analysis.

Osraty clinic is hiring A Shadow Teacher to join our interdisciplinary team.

Summary of Position:

-

The shadow teacher will be responsible to work directly with a single special needs child during his preschool and elementary school.

The ideal candidate will be able to understand a variety of learning disabilities and how to handle them accordingly.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-

Working under the supervision of the ABA therapist
Follow the ABA therapist recommendations to achieve the Individual Intervention Plan/ Individual Educational Plan
Implement skills acquisition, social skills programs
Implement positive behavior plans and strategies
Follow recommendations for comprehensive services
Collaborate with other treatment team members and members of the client’s education environment regarding patients’ progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions as appropriate
Ensures that patients’ progress notes are entered into the medical records on a timely basis and in accordance with established organizational procedures
Maintaining clear lines of communication and professional boundaries
Adherence to workplace rules and policies

Skills:

Good in both written and spoken English
Good command of Microsoft Office suite (word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, database)
Written and verbal communication skills, besides diplomacy and negotiating skills
Work ethic, commitment, and positive attitude

Reports to: ABA Therapist

Job Type: Full-time [8 am- 2 pm (6 hours a day) Monday- Friday]

Requirements:

Preferred currently certified as an RBT/ eligible.
Preferred having work experience as a shadow teacher
