SERVICE MANAGER
Reporting to General Manager
Mission Statement: Develop and implement the Service Business strategy, goals, operational targets and their achievement to maximize growth and financial results.
Main Accountabilities:
Strategy:Implements DANWAY-EPDC strategy to achieve the relevant budget and target expectations from local management.
Planning:
the planning and execution of various service activities carried out in house and on site, and monitors progress and long term delivery.
Project Management:
work to project management team members based on order content, delivery time, competencies and workload.
Service Project Execution
maintenance service project execution with respect to the agreed terms of schedule, quality, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction.
Repair Service
Leads engineering and production activities to retrofit, repair, refurbish, and phase out products in accordance with contract requirements of schedule, quality, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction. Partners with Buyers and Project Managers to ensure appropriate supply of spare parts and equipment for on-site service teams.
Margins:Ensures work assignments are accurately classified as warranty or non-warranty status to optimize margins.
Optimizing: Ensures that materials and components to feed production and service delivery are provided optimizing cost, stock and timing.
Control:Ensures the control over all management/administrative aspects of provided services.
New Partners: Ensures research, qualification and contractual agreement with new partners to deliver field services.
Customer Relations: Builds relationships with customers and ensures effective ongoing client growth, satisfaction and retention. Supports sales resources in customer discussions.
Non-conformity Reports: Oversees monitoring and solution proposal for non-conformity reports.
Contract Administrators: Coordinates contract administrators to organize preventive maintenance and on demand service activities.
Suppliers: Manages agreements with suppliers of maintenance services.
Stock:Controls stock level of strategic spare parts in order to meet customer needs.
Risks and Safety Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements actions to ensure people and equipment safety.
HR Ensures (with HR manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Qualification:
§ Electrical Engineering degree from reputable university.
§ Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP is an advantage.
§ Minimum 10 –years’ experience in the same field with electrical engineering background,
Minimum experience of 5-years in UAE is required.
§ Previous experience in LV&MV;switchgear preferably in COG & industrial sector.
Aware of all components used in this industry (MCCB’s, ACB’s, VFD’s, Sofstarters, Contactors; intelligent relays, busduct …. etc.) experience in PLC/control systems will be an advantage
