POSITION SUMMARY

This newly created role will report to the Sales Director MEA. The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for new business development and account management of hotel customers across the Middle East, with a core focus on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES DEVELOPMENT

Directly oversee and responsible for the growth of the company at a regional level
Responsible for the sales budget of designated territories
Regularly review territories and undertake market analysis to identify new business opportunities, build your pipeline through tools like top hotel projects, STR and TripAdvisor
Manage end-to-end regional and global group deal rollouts, as required, in designated territories
Proactively lead, manage, and execute the entire sales lifecycle from introduction to first product delivery
Be able to identify and breakthrough to decision makers at hotels for in-person meetings – use LinkedIn and other sources to determine key persons
Lead and deliver sales presentations to decision-makers
Work with distributors to successfully grow business in their markets

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Understand existing contracts for designated territories including start and end dates, renewal dates, agreed pricing structures to ensure re-contracting
Lead product training sessions with new and existing clients
Identify upselling opportunities with existing hotel partners to drive revenue growth – assess product gaps
Ensure regular touch points/call cycles with hotel partners and be across any personnel changes that may impact the contract – strategically schedule meetings, calls, emails, and F2F interactions (where possible)
Keep relationships with key accounts strong and connected through gifting, client breakfasts, lunches or dinners and attending special events on a regular basis (industry expos/events and PR launches)
Partner with marketing to highlight partnership opportunities including campaigns, events, new product launches, etc
Maintain detailed knowledge of VANITY GROUP’s brand portfolio and have contingency brand plans in place for hotel renewals

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

Maintain a high level of professionalism and motivational spirit with stakeholders at all times
Working and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines
Be a confident decision maker, in situations of ambiguity and clearly convey the reasoning for your decision
Manage upwards, articulating delays/roadblocks to senior management with a solution-focused approach
Lead through the Company’s values, coaching, supporting, and providing feedback to the team when required

SALES ADMINISTRATION

Oversee Salesforce system – ensure accurate input and detailed data in relation to correspondence with hotel partners
Work with the Brand Licensing Manager to ensure sales collateral and samples remain up to date with brand approvals and guidelines

FINANCIALS

Work with Demand & Supply Planner to forecast hotel partner consumption
Develop monthly reporting to track sales to target and revenue growth

ABOUT YOU

Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in Sales/Account Management role
Experience in the cosmetics, hospitality or B2B sales channel
Experience in delivering sales and product presentations to C-Suite Executives
Multi-Lingual is advantageous but not essential
Preferred working knowledge of Salesforce
Proficient in MS Excel and adept with Microsoft Office suite
Have worked in high SKU/3PL environments is advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent financial awareness and understanding
