Our client is a global company currently operating in multiple countries worldwide, across 4 continents.

The Senior IT Manager is responsible for revamping the current landscape of the local business, aligned with global strategic direction and latest technological and software trends. This role will entail ownership over key business lines and development of a sophisticated software framework to ensure smooth operations.

Responsible for the infrastructure project management to implement a new tech stack, upskilling the technical teams and maintaining oversight on front end, back end and infrastructure in dynamic environment. This role is also expected to motivate enhancements in business performance, spearhead initiatives for digital transformation, and be involved in strategic business partnering, interfacing with key business stakeholders from the software development perspective.

Ideal Profile

We are looking for a proven IT professional with a customer-oriented and business facing background, ideally from a retail or consumer background, who will manage the digital transformation, operational and project management deliverables. Similar proven experience with legacy system removal/upgrade project management and knowledge of local UAE laws and regulations.

Job Description

Coordinate multiple digital transformation and system implementation large-scale projects from inception to completion ensuring optimal utilization of resources
Interface with business stakeholders to align on cross functional synergy and integrate into software infrastructure
Define and manage support services and supervise application functioning, optimizing application development and performance (from the "service catalog" or on request), and delivering service in accordance with established SLAs taking proactive action to ensure stable and secure application and infrastructures to avoid potential service disruption
Maintain day-to-day operational efficiency and provide coaching to team members
Oversee all budgets and expenses relevant to software development
Maintain end-to-end full-stack view on modifications and updates made on front-end
Develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with internal users and/or external suppliers
Recruit, manage, and develop the IT team and end users.
Vendor Management & Coordination – external IT support providers
Identify areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementation.
