Senior Human Resources Officer Required in Dubai

We are currently hiring for the position of Senior Human Resources Officer, who will be responsible for assisting the HR Manager with managing the day-to-day administrative functions of the department.

Experience Required

· Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior HR role.

· Human Resource management working knowledge and sufficient understanding of UAE labor law.

· A sound knowledge of recruitment and other HR processes.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel, for all reporting purposes.

· Able to remain calm and work under pressure.

· Ability to multi-task.

· To be proactive and able to solve problems with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

· Interacting with department heads to identify job openings and prepare job descriptions and requirements.

· Posting job openings on media and social media outlets.

· Finding and filtering appropriate job applicants and performing reference checks.

· Head-hunting on LinkedIn or other platforms, as required.

· Scheduling and conducting interviews.

· Extending job offers and arranging the relevant documents.

· Compiling reports on recruitment for the HR department.

Onboarding and Offboarding

· Inducting and onboarding new employees including providing them with all documentation required for onboarding for both the Dubai and London office.

· Liaising with the operations manager and IT department to ensure that the work tools and office equipment are provided for the new employee.

· Introducing the recruit to their colleagues and showing them around the company.

· Conduct exit interviews and make sure the handover process runs smoothly.

· Liaising with the IT department to ensure that employees who exit the company follow the correct exit procedures.

Performance Management

· Assist the HR Manager in further designing a performance management approach with standardized processes, documents, and tools to ensure systematic feedback and improvement actions on performance towards ES staff

· Collate and review performance management reviews per department to present to HR Manager and stakeholders.

· Assist with tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators for every employee & team

Visa processing and health insurance.

· Processing employment visas and administering health insurance for all employees.

· Managing queries regarding the visa and health insurance process.

General HR Administration

· Assisting with the day-to-day HR functions and duties for both Dubai and London.

· Providing clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager.

· Working closely with the HR Manager to ensure compliance with the Labour Law.

· Managing sick, annual, maternity, and unpaid leave.

· Compiling and updating all relevant employee data and documentation and filing soft copies in the CRM portal and Google Drive.

· Acting as the liaison between the HRM and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.

· Assisting with creating some policies, processes, and documents.

· Supporting the Finance Department with the payroll process by confirming new employees, salary details, leave management, gratuity payment, etc.

· Developing strong interpersonal relationships with all members of the staff

· Conducting exit interviews with departing employees to learn why they are leaving and how the company can improve its retention rate in the future.

· Conducting training/seminars for employees about any recent company policies, procedures, and best practices for their position.
