Senior Financial Controller Required in Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees operations of the finance department, sets goals and objectives, and designs a framework for them to be met
Manage the preparation of the company's budget
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions
Prepare monthly, and quarterly management reporting and statements and VAT returns
Handle bank reconciliation and manage the audit process and liaise with external personnel.
Cash flow management
Debt management and collection
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Skills required:

Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
4 to 10 years of experience ideally
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with general ledger functions and the month/year-end close process
Good understanding of accounting software
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
