Charterhouse are actively engaging with a leading international brand, within their Dubai regional office, to identify a Senior Financial Analyst for one of their most prestigious global business lines.

This role shall be geared towards the controllership and financial analysis across the full business operation, product lines and regional markets within their scope of coverage. The Senior Financial Analyst shall take ownership across the management of P&L production, month-end consolidation along with an oversight of budget and variance analysis which also combines an input to the group planning and forecasting cycles.

From an accounting standpoint, this role shall also have oversight of areas of statutory reporting, across the balance sheet, whilst also overseeing areas of receivables, cash flow management and acting as a liaison point for any external audit, risk governance and taxation matters.

Finally, this Financial Analyst shall also be responsible for the production of MIS and management-based reports across areas of performance analysis, stock control, planning and profitability evaluation.

The client will look to recruit a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) profile or a candidate coming from an MBA-type background. All applicants shall be required to present robust accounting and financial management skills; with a strong insight to commercial finance and/or business support functions.

In conjunction, the client will look for candidates whom are able to demonstrate strong and advanced skills within Excel.

This extends to being able to develop financial models for both planning and reporting-based objectives. From a non-technical prospective, the client will look for candidates whom are able to present strong communication and presentation skills; in the support of senior management reporting lines and internationally-based business operations and stakeholders.
