Senior Engineer Required in Dubai

The client is in the Telecom Company and is looking at hiring an Expert Engineer for their team at Dubai.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Produce network design deliverables for Etisalat’s Core network services, including high- and low-level designs and technical migration guidelines, within the context of projects, emerging technologies and forecasted demands
Initiate/participate in new design and redesign projects for the modernization of Etisalat’s network services and its E2E architecture
Solicit current and future requirements and forecasts related to the design and architecture of Etisalat’s network services from operation/planning/PMO entities and from marketing/strategy/customer experience entities
Keep abreast of the industry’s leading practices and processes in infrastructure design and relay technical direction and experience to the team
Ensure the continuous documentation and control of designs and redesigns, coupled with the principles, rationale and motivations behind them, and how they align with strategic themes
Validate and communicate designs and redesigns of Etisalat’s network services, anticipating compliance of current and emerging standards and technologies in those designs and redesigns
Participate and cooperate with other entities for the modernization of Etisalat’s Core network services, as well as in design validations
Synergize with all interfacing entities in the corporation, including within the division and within the team
Ensure timeliness of producing design deliverables and of performing duties, with complete follow through and clear objectives
If required, providing technical migration guidelines to Operations for moving from current implementations and deployments to the new designs
Develop, publish and update the network service design rules and guidelines to which Operations and Planning entities must adhere
Perform the duties and assignments given by the direct supervisor within the areas of responsibility

Experience:

· 7 years in a leading role overseeing operations and maintenance of fixed, and data networks and deployment of state-of-the art technologies in a large Telecommunications organization

Qualifications:

· BSc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or Communication Engineering (or equivalent)
