Senior Compliance Officer

Location: Dubai

Venture Search has partnered with a private bank in recruiting for a Senior Compliance Officer role for their office in the DIFC.

Strong focus on Anti Money Laundering: KYC/due diligence, review/ approval of new onboardings, periodic reviews, transactions monitoring, internal Compliance investigations, handling internal/ external suspicious activity reports
Other Compliance areas: advisory in cross-border matters, suitability, and appropriateness, market conduct, etc.
Ensure regulatory watch, follow-up on Group directives in the compliance area, and adopt/ update internal local directives accordingly
Participate in Compliance related projects and initiatives
Contribute to the AML/Compliance activity reports, prepare various reporting on AML/Compliance for head office in Switzerland and regulator
AML and other compliance-related Advisory to Front office
Produce training material, and deliver pieces of training.

Strong preference for candidates with a legal background and at least 5 years of experience in the private banking industry.
