Senior Accountant Required in Dubai
Responsibilities:

· Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting function
· Monthly accounts closing and preparation of detailed monthly MIS reports.
· Prepare a trial balance summarizing the balances of all accounts in the general ledger.
· Prepare monthly Financial Statements including P&L, BS, and Cash Flow according to IFRS.
· Generate ad-hoc reports in response to specific information requests from management.
· Liaise with external auditors by addressing inquiries and ensuring a smooth audit process.
· Complete the reconciliation of the various company bank accounts promptly at month's end.
· Oversee tax filings, including VAT and Corporate tax.
· Accrue for the incurred expenses every month.
· Oversee Account Payable, Review and approve payment vouchers and supporting documents.
· Review monthly Payroll to ensure accuracy in salary, benefits, and deductions.
· Process WPS for employees in compliance with the UAE labor law.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or similar.
· Professional qualifications as CMA, ACCA, CPA.
· Five (5) years of accounting experience.
· Proficiency in Excel, and experience in manipulating large databases.
· Significant hands-on experience using an integrated ERP system.
· Understanding of IFRS as it applies to a manufacturing environment.
· Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Available to join immediately.
· Must be a team player who also works well independently.
