Senior Accountant Required in Dubai
Job Purpose:

Oversee and manage the financial operations. Ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to accounting principles, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the division's objectives and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting function
Monthly accounts closing and preparation of detailed monthly MIS reports.
Credit Control
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and MIS submission to corporate customers.
Ensure prompt collection and minimum exposure from corporate customers.
Monitoring customer balances/aging on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Vendor accounting and payments.
Liaison with the bank
Bank payments, accounting and preparation of cash flow statement
Bank Reconciliation
Payroll accounting
Coordinate effectively with other departments like Operations, Sales, and IT.
Report issues related to invoicing and collections to the reporting manager.
Preparation of VAT return and filing.
Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits
Implementing streamlined financial processes and controls.
Optimizing financial reporting systems
Identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Must be a qualified ACCA or MBA from a reputed institute.
4-5 years of experience in freight forwarding.
Previous experience in Logistic Industry is must.
Must have experience working with CargoWise ERP system
Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
