Senior Accountant Required in Dubai
Our client, a renowned engineering consultant specializing in landscape and infrastructure projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for monitoring general accounting operations by controlling and verifying the organizations financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities to include:

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile payment and receivable accounts
Assist in the preparation of tax and audit returns
Support with the month-end and year-end close process
Secure financial information by completing database backups
Liaise with Financial Manager to improve financial procedures

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or relevant field
10 to 15 years of accounting experience in the engineering industry is required
Relevant certifications such as ACCA, CPA, and CMA
Hands-on experience with Windows, Microsoft Office and accounting software such as ERP and Deltek
In-depth understanding of revenue, cost, and taxation
Full command of English with additional spoken language in Arabic is an advantage
