Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounting operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience working in a corporate environment, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Monitor day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivables, and general ledger.

Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

Ensure compliance with federal tax laws and regulations on corporate Tax and Vat.

Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close

Provide support to auditor’s team.

Manage and mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Post Graduate / CMA / ACCA preferred

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
