To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a Senior (SAP) Accountant.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

Perform reconciliations for Banks accounts, Accounts Receivable, and Payable
Support month-end and year-end close process
Prepares account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
Sorting out the incoming and outgoing daily posts and answering any queries
Managing petty cash transactions
Managing the audit and external auditors
Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Preparation of VAT reports in compliance with UAE law
Supports accounting operations by filing documents
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise
Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential
Preparing Invoices for intercompany
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of four years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
ACCA or CPA preferred

Required Skills/ Competency:

Understanding of Financial Services/FinTech sector, communication skills and problem-solving attitude.
Solid Accounting Experience
Experience with SAP is a must
Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation
Problem solving and analytical skills
