Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

We are looking for a versatile, well-versed and experienced accountant to join our dynamically expanding team. The right candidate will have experience in monthly closing processes, VAT, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing.

Main responsibilities include:

· Preparing accurate and valid sales invoices and submit to client on a timely basis.

· Recording and reconciling assigned accounts in Oracle.

· Updating receivables and related ledger on a weekly basis and follow up on collection.

· Entering invoices and receipts in Oracle.

· Preparing quotations/proposals on a timely manner and follow up with clients.

· Maintaining assigned schedules as per Group and audit requirements.

· Ensuring business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

· Working closely with team members to assist with the month-end close

· Assisting with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes

· Researching and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications

· 5+ years of professional accounting experience

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience

· Must be native Arabic speaker

· CPA preferred

· Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS.

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office & Oracle.
