Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

A leading Multinational Medical Devices company is actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant (9-Month Contract) to be based in Dubai, UAE.

Key aspects of the role include:

Prepares asset, liability, capital account entries and tax returns.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Monitors spending and budgets.
Compiles and presents financial and budget reports.
Financial forecasting and risk analysis.
Auditing and analysing financial performance.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies.
Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits.
Ensures that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
Keeping account books and systems up to date.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Arabic/English speakers.
Candidates must already be based in UAE.
Must have regional experience and have handled at least 3 countries.
Must have VAT experience.
Knowledge in using MS Excel and SAP.
Good understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
Possess a strong solid Accountancy background.
1-2 years audit experience is preferred.
