Description:
We’re hiring a Senior Accountant (Audit) to strengthen our finance team and ensure robust financial controls across our trading and recycling operations. The role combines hands-on accounting, audit coordination, and compliance responsibilities to help maintain accurate records and support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain full set of financial records and prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management accounts.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, perform reconciliations, and oversee cash-flow monitoring.
• Lead internal audit activities, prepare audit schedules and documentation, and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate smooth statutory audits.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax rules, prepare returns, and assist with any tax-related queries or filings.
• Operate and optimize accounting processes within Zoho Books / Zoho Finance—ensure transactions are recorded correctly and system reconciliations are performed.
• Produce MIS reports and deliver financial analysis to management, highlighting key variances and insights for better business decisions.
• Identify process improvements, support month-end close activities, and contribute to stronger accounting controls across the business.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA) are desirable.
• 5–7 years’ experience in accounting and auditing—experience in trading or manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Practical, hands-on experience with Zoho Books / Zoho Finance is mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
