Senior Accountant
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting, preferably within the contracting industry, and be well-versed in the complete accounting cycle.
DUTIES:
• Oversee and manage the full accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Handle VAT compliance, tax filings, and audits.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Utilize HORIZON software (knowledge is an advantage).
• Ensure adherence to company policies and UAE financial regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience in a contracting company.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in HORIZON software is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred.
