Role Overview: As a Senior Accountant at Foodlink Global Restaurant & Catering Services LLC you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our business. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure optimal financial performance and liquidity.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and financial reporting.
• Conduct regular variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks affecting the financial performance of the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial projections, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Maintain compliance with local tax regulations and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
