SCHOOL NURSE REQUIRED IN DUBAI

Position: Nurse
Department: Administration
Reports: Doctor/School Operations Manager
Interfaces With: Students, Faculty, Staff, Parents, Divisional Offices

Objective:
To be responsible for the health, hygiene and wellbeing of all students and staff of the school. Ensuring the school is in complete compliance with regulations of the Ministry of Health.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure that parents and students adhere and well informed of immunization requirements per the Ministry of Health guidelines.
• Monitor the maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene within the school, particularly in areas such as cafeteria, classrooms, washrooms and swimming pools.
• Be available to students and staff to address their immediate needs, providing a source of medical advice.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records of al students as regulated by the Ministry of Health
• Establish procedures for providing first aid in cases of accidents or illness on school campus and during school functions.
• Refer accidents or illness appropriately to the school doctor or hospital. And communicate promptly to school Director General.
• Be present for all student related activities on campus
• Keep up to date with current medical practices and regulations as prescribed by governmental authorities.
• To provide Operational support to Manager of School Operations as per standard operating procedure in efficient management of School Operations.

• Engage with the administration in a committed effort to improve one’s own job knowledge
• Openly support and abide by all school policies and procedures
• Model IPS-J’s ‘Core Values’ in interaction with the school community
• Liaise with Director General, taking on tasks as assigned, including all school goals and objectives
• Demonstrate commitment to personal continuous professional growth and development.
