Salon Manager Required in Dubai
As a Salon Manager, you will oversee all areas of the salon operations, ensuring that the business is performing at or above standard. You are expected to have an upbeat personality who work well under pressure and have a passion for team success. You will lead by example, recruit and train staff, promote marketing specials, identify areas for improvement, and keep an eye on numbers that measure team productivity. You will be expected to respond to any matters that require immediate attention even after working hours.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the salon including opening and closing procedures, staff behavior and customer intake procedures
Lead the salon staff team in providing excellent services and maximizing salon profit
Interview, hire and train salon staff in procedure, policy and health regulations
Manage employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality; Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for the salon's needs
Oversee the ordering of beauty products, like creams and essential oils and replenish stock
Manage all regular maintenance services for all equipment and the overall of the salon
Ensure all staff meet high quality standards. Provide training if necessary
Increase salon sales through products and services promotion
Increase productivity and quality of service of the staff through training and upgrading of skills
Prepare and send reports of inventory, costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly and quarterly)
Account for and report profits and expenses of the salon
Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to staff disputes
Requirements
NVQ certified a plus but not required.
Previous experience in a high-end salon is a plus.
3 years of work experience as a Beauty Salon Manager, or a similar role.
Certification in Beauty Therapy or Cosmetology
Ability to handle staff and customers’ requests and complaints with elegance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organization and analytical skills.
